"Get the Fu*k Out of Here!": LAPD Assaults Gaza Student Protesters at UCLA, Attack Our Tina-Desiree Berg
"I was in pain all night after that" Desiree Berg says after LAPD violently threw her down on top of wooden pallets during UCLA student protests
Hey folks, it’s Jordan.
Yesterday President Biden gave an impromptu speech on the growing pro-Palestinian protests on college campuses: "We are not an authoritarian nation where we silence people or squash dissent,” Biden said.
I guess he wasn’t watching the LAPD’s Mongolian-army esque show of force on the campus of UCLA.
On May 1st, our Tina-Desiree Berg reported from UCLA’s campus in Los Angeles where LAPD came in like storm troopers in war—assaulting students and journalists like Desiree Berg. "I was in pain all night after that,” Desiree-Berg said after an LAPD pushed her down onto a wooden pallet in the student encampment.
NO OUTLET has covered more Ceasefire/student protests than us: Jon Farina/Tina-Desiree Berg have combined to cover NEARLY 50 protests in NYC, D.C., and LA. This reporting is expensive—and risky.
