Mitt Romney Admits TikTok Ban Meant to SQASH & Censor Opposition to Israel's Genocide
"You look at the postings on TikTok and the number of mentions of Palestinians relative to other social media sites...that's of real interest and the president will get the chance to make action"
Senator and former presidential candidate Mitt Romney accidentally said the quiet part out loud during an interview with Secretary of State Anthony Blinken at the late warmonger John McCain’s McCain Institute.
Romney, angry that Israel losing the public relations battle amidst its ongoing genocide of Palestinians in Gaza, noted the real reason Congress—and the engines that churn the military industrial complex—noted the real reasons Congress wants to ban TikTok…
And it’s not China.
Blinken: “Now of course we’re on an intravenous feed of information with new impulses, inputs every millisecond. “And of course the way this has played out on social media has dominated the narrative. You have a social media ecosystem, environment in which context, history, facts get lost and the emotion, the impact of images dominate. We can’t discount that, but I think it also has a very very challenging effect on the narrative.”
Romney: “Some wonder why there was such overwhelming support for us [Congress] to shot down, potentially, TikTok or other entires of that nature; if you look at the postings on Tik Tok and the the number of mentions of Palestinians relative to other social media sites, it’s overwhelmingly so among TikTok broadcasts, so I’d note that’s of real interest and the president will get the chance to make action in that regard.
Holy shit, wow! Jordan responded to Romney openly dropping such autocratic Orwellian 1984 jargon.
First, Pete Ricketts, & now Mitt Romney. That’s right guys, keep digging your graves by proving ByteDance’s case against you when they go to sue all of you for a violation of free speech. 👍🏾 ✌🏾
