NYPD Viciously HEADLOCK Pro-Palestinian Protester: "I Didn't Feel safe, Let Me Go!"
Our Jon Farina continues to lead ALL news outlets in coverage of pro-Palestinian peace protests covering nearly 50 protests in NYC and D.C.
Last night, Jon Farina continued to cover ongoing pro-Palestinian protests in New York City on the heels of Israel's invasion of Rafah. In response, Farina captured an NYPD officer tackling a protester and placing them in what appeared to be a headlock—and if viewing at certain angles, a potential chokehold—for nearly one minute.
Right before the aggressive assault by NYPD, another protester pleaded with police before they attacked her: “I didn't feel safe, let me go!"
Continuing to cover these protests LIVE—often for 3-4 straight hours—is very expensive (we’re being charged higher fees as streaming longer leaves us over our data plan for our LiveU broadcasting unit). If you value our ON-THE-GROUND reporting documenting these historic protests—and the police’s escalating, out-of-control aggression—please support Status Coup:
