Since then, local residents as far as 50 miles away have been sick, dealing with nosebleeds, lung burning, respiratory issues, headaches, dizziness, fatigue, metallic taste in mouth, and more. This fire likely unleashed toxic chemicals over the “Salad Bowl of America”—which produces 70% of our vegetables and lots of our fruits.
