If you want us to be able to keep covering the East Palestine disaster, please SUPPORT OUR ON-THE-GROUND reporting. With more support, we can continue to lift the voices of effected East Palestine residents…unless you’re expecting CNN or MSNBC to do it!
During his fifth reporting trip to East Palestine for Status Coup, our Louis DeAngelis spoke with Matt McAnlis and Ashley McCollum, an East Palestine couple that has been forced to live in a hotel for over a year after Norfolk Southern unnecessarily detonated cancerous, toxic chemicals over East Palestine and surrounding parts of Ohio and Pennsylvania. Both are having serious health issues as a result of the chemical contamination they were exposed to. Infuriatingly, their home is too toxic to live in but Norfolk Southern refuses to pay to permanently relocate them and Ashley’s children.
Does anyone have the funds to do a soil test in a mile or two radius. I've only done two semiotics ones however this is one of those I think we should moments. RR's are Toxic.
